You now have a new image on your Paint Shop Pro acreen and it looks something like this:

Follow the red numbers to be sure you do the tutorial in the right order.

On your tool bar, click on the flood fill tool. It is the one that looks like a bucket.

Under style, you will want to choose your foreground. This is what you will use to tell the computer what you want to fill your blank image with.

Place your cursor over the triangle and click.

I added the red circle to help you see things better. Do NOT look for it in your computer, it will not be there. Do not look for a blue square like the one in the picture on the left. That just happened to be the last one I used before I took the screen shot you see. Your computer will have whatever the last one was you used.

It may take several tries, AND drive you nuts in the process, but you are looking for a very small window to pop out that looks like the one on the left.

Choose "Gradient" (second from the left). I circled it in red to help you see better.
